Return of the Light:
a spring equinox cacao ceremony and ecstatic dance
As the wheel turns and day meets night in perfect balance, we gather to honor the return of the light—both around us and within us.
The Spring Equinox is a threshold moment: a tender crossing from dormancy into bloom, from quiet gestation into embodied expression. In this sacred pause between seasons, we’ll open with a heart-centered cacao ceremony led by Annie Byrne—as an invitation to soften, listen, and reconnect. Cacao, the gentle plant medicine of the heart, supports clarity, creativity, and connection. Together we’ll set intentions, attune to the rhythm of the earth, and call in what longs to grow.
From this grounded center, we’ll transition into an ecstatic dance journey—an open, sober, free-form movement experience guided by DJ Ember that mirrors the arc of the season. Beginning in stillness and subtle awakening, building toward ecstatic expression (all is welcome here), and landing in integration and feeling, the dance floor becomes a living altar. No choreography. No expectations. Just your body, your breath, and the pulse of collective energy. Honor one another on the dance floor.
If you desire to dance with someone, consent is a MUST.
This is a space to wiggle off winter’s weight.
To remember your aliveness.
To move what has been stagnant.
To welcome balance—dark and light, rest and action, grief and joy.
Come as you are. Wear what makes you feel radiant and free. Bring a water bottle, a journal if you feel called, and an open heart.
Let us gather in community to honor this turning of the season.
Let us dance the light back into our bones, together. 🌿✨
